Here at Bushton Manufacturing, we take pride in long-lasting, well-built tools like the Hawk line and the AtomPop Popcorn Popper from Quincraft Products.

Hawk Woodworking Tools started as Pruitt in 1929 in the town of Pleasant Hill, MO. RB Industries (RBI) bought Pruitt in 1972 and moved the company to Harrisonville, MO. In 2007, RBI sold out to an investment group who called the company Hawk Woodworking Industries, LLC and moved the company outside Garden City, MO.

In March of 2009, the investment group closed the doors of Hawk Woodworking Industries, LLC. On April 14th, less than a month later, Bushton Manufacturing, LLC purchased Hawk Woodworking Industries, LLC (formerly RBI), moved it to our facilities in Bushton, KS and combined it with our other operations, including the AtomPop from Quincraft Products.
Quincraft Products was an aluminum spin-forming company started in Quincy, KS in 1948 by J. Edwin Lewis. In 1952, Mr. Lewis purchased the manufacturing and marketing rights to his own product line, the "Mazy Pop" which is now called the AtomPop popcorn popper.

In 1975, Mr. Lewis's daughter, Jane Ferguson, moved the company to Fredonia, KS so her family could continue the work her father began. Then in 2005, the Fergusons sold the company to the owners of what is now Bushton Manufacturing who moved the operation to Bushton, KS where the AtomPop is still produced today.

INTRODUCING THE RAILMASTER FLAT-PANEL DOOR MACHINE!
For years, we have manufactured the PanelMASTER IV for raised-panel doors, but now, we also have the RailMASTER for flat-panel doors. The RailMaster was designed by customer request to make the trendy mission- and shaker-style cabinet doors.

This machine has a smaller footprint and only the style and rail cutters (cope and pattern). By not having the larger raised-panel and back cutters, it does not require the 5hp motor and uses only a 3hp motor, with no loss of power. This results in a lower cost for the machine and user.

The price is $4000 - as opposed to $6000 for the full PanelMASTER IV. We will be able to start shipping the RailMASTER in February 2025.

It is designed for Freeborn Brazed cutters but we can supply a small selection of imported cutters at a lower price.

Call 620-562-3557 to pre-order and ask for Nilus. He will be able to give you more information on the machine and imported cutters, if requested.
STATEMENT ON TARIFFS:

MADE IN THE USA - NO INCREASE IN PRICE FROM TARIFFS

There has been a lot said about rising prices caused by the tariffs. Some companies are even publishing how much of the cost is from the tariffs. Therefore, we have analyzed our cost, as have our suppliers, and this is what we have found.

Although RBI had moved to have some parts made overseas, we chose to end that practice. We purchased the product line that was RBI in 2009 and by 2010, we were no longer bringing in parts from outside the U.S.

The aluminum and steel we use in our woodworking machines is - and has been - U.S. sourced material.

Our scroll saw motors are made in the U.S. but do contain foreign components. Our gearmotors and other larger motors are American made.

We have checked and found that some of our hardware (nuts, bolts, etc.) are USA  made and some are not. We are looking into increasing the USA made hardware.

One component that is imported and will remain so is the 1" bearing on the PanelMASTER and RailMASTER. These machines turn at 7000 rpms and we need bearings that can withstand this speed. We tested approximately a dozen different bearings for vibration and heat rise. We use the bearing that had the least vibration and lowest heat rise. This bearing is an import. We will continue using it until we find a bearing that beats it.

To summarize:
WHILE OTHER COMPANIES MAY NEED TO RAISE THEIR PRICES, OUR INCREASE IN THE COST OF OUR MACHINES FROM THE TARIFFS IS INSIGNIFICANT AND WE WILL HAVE NO INCREASE IN PRICES DUE TO THE TARIFFS.
